Common questions
I deleted photos but my free space didn't change.
Deleted photos go to Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted and stay there for 30 days. Open that album, tap Select, then Delete All. Scutter measures free space again when you come back.
The space came back smaller than expected.
If Optimize iPhone Storage is on, your iPhone keeps smaller versions of photos and the full originals live in iCloud. Deleting them frees most of the space in iCloud rather than on the iPhone. iOS can also take a minute to reclaim space.
Scutter doesn't see all my photos.
You may have given access to selected photos only. Open Settings → Scutter → Photos and choose Full Access.
Can I get a deleted photo back?
Yes, for 30 days: open Recently Deleted in Photos, select the photo and tap Recover.
